Advocate – Crisis Intervention

Location: Farmington, NM   Status: Full-Time

Our Counseling Center provides free, confidential services to survivors, children, and individuals seeking to change harmful behaviors. We offer a range of programs tailored to support healing and personal growth, leading to healthier and meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering hotline calls and assisting walk-in clients with compassion and care
  • Providing immediate crisis intervention and safety planning
  • Connecting survivors with resources such as shelter, legal services, and counseling
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to work with individuals in crisis with empathy and professionalism
  • Bilingual skills a plus

Billing Coordinator

Location: Farmington, NM   Status: Full-Time

Our Counseling Center is seeking a deatail-oriented and compassionate Billing Coordinator to join our administrative team. This role ensures accurate and timely billing for client services, supports financial operations, and helps maintain the integrity of confidential client information. The ideal candidate is organized, communication, and motivated by the mission of supporting individuals and families in need of healing and growth,

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, submitting, and tracking client billing statements and insurance claims.
  • Reviewing and reconciling account balances and payments.
  • Communicating with clients, insurance providers, and internal staff regarding billing inquires.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential financial and client records.
  • Assisting with financial reporting and administrative support tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with organization and regulatory billing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivaent experience).
  • Previous experience with medical or behavioral health billing preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
