Advocate – Crisis Intervention
Location: Farmington, NM Status: Full-Time
Our Counseling Center provides free, confidential services to survivors, children, and individuals seeking to change harmful behaviors. We offer a range of programs tailored to support healing and personal growth, leading to healthier and meaningful relationships.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering hotline calls and assisting walk-in clients with compassion and care
- Providing immediate crisis intervention and safety planning
- Connecting survivors with resources such as shelter, legal services, and counseling
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work with individuals in crisis with empathy and professionalism
- Bilingual skills a plus
