If you're a mother living with domestic violence, your first thought is often about your children. You wonder: Are they okay? Are they hurting? Am I doing enough to protect them? These are questions many women face and they’re not easy. But you’re not alone, and there is help. Even if children are not physically harmed, living in a home where abuse is happening can deeply affect them. They may struggle with fear, confusion, or guilt. Some children become anxious or withdrawn. Others may act out, trying to make sense of what they’re experiencing.
